I am a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Maryland. I have experience providing psychiatric assessments and medication management for children, teens and adults ages 13+.

Professional Experience

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing degree at Georgetown University and completed my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner degree at George Mason University. At Georgetown University, I was honored with the Clinical Excellence Award for excellence in nursing skills, knowledge, expertise and personal attributes that contribute to the delivery of quality patient care. I have worked in the hospital setting at Children’s National the past 4+ years providing medical and behavioral healthcare to children, teens and young adults. I was an active contributor at Children’s National with certifications as a Clinical Nurse Leader and in Pediatric Nursing. I served on the patient education and advocacy committee, where I worked closely with patients and families, identifying their educational needs and providing appropriate services.

I have clinical training at both Children’s National Hospital and Waypoint Wellness Center in treating patients with mental health concerns including but not limited to: anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma, and eating disorders. I’ve had the privilege of working with patients in the emergency, inpatient psychiatry and medical settings which has helped me to foster a problem-solving approach. In 2019, I completed Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies’ Mind Body Medicine Program where I learned how to integrate mindfulness, meditation, biofeedback, movement and reflection into medical care. As a practitioner, I strive to work closely with patients to find a medication management solution that fits their needs. I’m passionate about mental health care and believe in the power of a holistic, whole-person approach.

Life Outside the Office

I was born in Annapolis and I grew up sailing and rowing on the Chesapeake Bay, so being on the water is my happy place. In my free time I love to explore local pastry and coffee shops and cook with my husband. I like to stay active by exercising, walking my dog, and practicing yoga.

Jacqueline provides telehealth and in-person services out of our Severna Park, Annapolis, and Linthicum locations. She currently participates with Tricare, Carefirst, USFH and JH EHP.
