Doctoral Psychology Externship
Waypoint Wellness Center offers an advanced practicum/externship experience for psychology doctoral students at various levels of training.
Candidates must have completed a Master’s degree in clinical or counseling psychology or have a master’s degree in education with a field of specialization in psychology or counseling psychology and are willing to obtain a psychology associate license in Maryland (Waypoint will pay application fees).
Placements are 16 hours per week for 9-12 months, and require 1 full on-site day per week, with options for virtual experience to supplement.
Trainees will all provide 10-12 hours of clinical services weekly. This can include assessment, intervention, or a combination of both depending on interests. Trainees with experience or interest in serving children and adolescents are preferred. Opportunities for involvement in group-based services, organizational and school mental health services, and community mental health are available for interested students.
Trainees will receive individual supervision with a psychologist for one hour weekly, and participate in weekly group supervision. Additional opportunities to obtain more supervision and training are available for those interested.

Psychologists, Social Workers, & Counselors
Waypoint offers individual, family, and couples psychotherapy as well as medication management in a private practice setting. In addition, we have expertise in psychological, neuropsychological, and psycho-educational testing.
We are looking for a licensed psychologist, social worker, or counselor who is passionate about providing empirically based services to join our growing interdisciplinary team. Providers who have previous clinical experience working with children and adolescents and who have worked in private practice settings will be given preference.
Part-time and full-time opportunities available in our three locations (Annapolis, Severna Park & Linthicum Heights). Caseloads will be based on preference and experience. Benefits (i.e., health insurance, 401K, CEU reimbursement, liability insurance reimbursement, PTO) available. Flexible schedules. Administrative staff support for intake, scheduling, and insurance. Fully furnished office. Regular peer supervision and consultation within our interdisciplinary setting. Supervision in pursuit of licensure will be considered.

Psychiatrist/Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Waypoint offers medication management in a private practice setting.
We are in search of adult and child and adolescent psychiatrists and/or NPs to provide evidenced based care in our multidisciplinary thriving practice.
