I am a licensed psychologist in Maryland and have dedicated my five decade career to helping people in all kinds of ways. I began as a city police officer in the 1960s, and have most recently been a psychologist in private practice. I often include the experiences and knowledge gained from a lifetime of helping people in eclectic ways as a part of my therapeutic style. Throughout the COVID pandemic, I have continued to provide in person services and have worked with many healthcare professionals during this challenging time.
Professional Experience
From 1972 until 1990 I was the coordinator of a police science program and the director of a regional police academy at NCTC in Wausau, Wisconsin. During this time I also served as a jail counselor/police psychologist, and I was in private practice as a psychologist in Wausau and Milwaukee. Before retiring in 2002, I was a clinical and corporate psychologist with Constellation Energy (Exelon Energy Corporation). I have been an expert witness in county, state, and federal court systems, and have been a consultant to public and private sector organizations, including The Pediatric Group, for over forty years. I was educated at Columbia University, University of Bridgeport, Florida State University, New York University, University of Wisconsin, and Marquette University
Life outside the office
